The lesson I learned from today is that what you do to others will come back to you

February 9, 20233 min read

Today was an interesting day, and I learned a valuable lesson that I wanted to share with all of you.

I woke up feeling really sleepy because I had to travel 21 km to share my experiences. Despite not feeling fully energized, I started my day with a fresh mindset and a nutritious breakfast. As a part of my daily routine, I also took a few minutes to offer a prayer of gratitude to the universe for all the blessings I have received and to ask for guidance in my life.

Around 11:30 AM, I received a reminder to read, but I missed it because I was still at home. At that moment, I found myself questioning why I was making the effort to travel for this task and if it was even worth it in this digital age. Suddenly, I received a WhatsApp message and realized that I was expected to be somewhere at that time. I immediately replied to apologize for not being able to make it and called the person to explain the situation. Although the person was understanding, I couldn’t shake off the feeling of guilt for not being able to fulfill my commitment.

Later in the day, I spent some quality time with my family and was reminded of the importance of being present in the moment and appreciating what I have. However, that peace was short-lived when I received another call for a meeting at 4:45 PM. This time, I didn’t want to disappoint the second person and made an effort to reach the meeting, only to find out that the person wasn’t available after 20 minutes of waiting.

The lesson I learned from today is that what you do to others will come back to you. It’s important to be kind and honest in our interactions with others and to be mindful of the impact our actions have on others. By being mindful of these things, we can cultivate positive relationships and create a better world for ourselves and others.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my experiences and lessons learned today. I hope you find value in these reflections and apply the lesson to your own life.
